What does it mean to be burdened?
Burdened is not a weight you chose. It is a weight that chose you. In scripture, a burden is not punishment. It is assignment. The prophets carried burdens. The apostles carried burdens. Every person who has ever changed the shape of the world around them did so because they could not put down what they were carrying.
Most people define burdened as overwhelmed, weighed down, struggling under pressure. But there is a second meaning. The older meaning. To be burdened is to be entrusted with something heavy enough to matter. A burden is proof that you were trusted to carry it.
Burdened exists because the tools available for understanding purpose, personality tests, career quizzes, church programs, describe who you are. They do not name what you carry. This assessment names it. Your Commission is not a category. It is an identity with direction.
